Stalwart is running,
Bulwark is looking like my webmail interface of choice.
Now… to get it working nicely via android!
Is there a page or list shared anywhere of things that work well with stalwart on android and iOS please?
In particular I’m looking for a calendar app for android so would you all please share anything you’ve tried.
I’ve got google calendar → but I’m trying to de google and I’m not sure it will connect with stalwart hosted calendars (maybe via ‘exchange’ accounts, I haven’t tried)
I’ve tried Tuta Calendar → I think it’s tied to Tuta accounts, using my stalwart credentials didn’t work
I’ve tried Mailtemi → Calendars aren’t released yet, though it connected fine as an email client
If anyone can share working calendar apps for android please I’d appreciate it
I have set up Cal/CardDAV on my SO’s Android with the help of DAVx⁵ - it wil add CalDav support to the default Android calendar - it is a very affordable (about €5) way to add open source support Cal/CardDAV support to your phone - it seems to work very well.
I installed DAVx5 and eventually found that I had to open google calendar and add the new account there (not via the system accounts page), then OK a warning about ‘surely I’d want to be using a google calendar’, and now it appears to be working well.
For future readers, I assumed that on a google Pixel there would be a system standard calendar app as well as google calendar. However it appears that’s not the case, the only calendar app is google calendar.
I did look briefly to find another calendar app but I didn’t get very far.
