Those two lines together are the admin UI failing to load one of its lazily imported chunks: the second string is the browser’s, the first is our error boundary catching it. So this is the server not serving an asset, not a fault in the UI itself.
The usual cause is where the bundle gets unpacked. By default it goes to the system temp directory, and our systemd unit does not set PrivateTmp, so on a host running systemd-tmpfiles-clean the chunks that are read rarely get swept out from under the running server while index.html and the entry chunk survive because they are touched constantly. Set unpackDirectory on the Application record to something persistent, /var/lib/stalwart/webui or wherever you keep state, then run the update-applications action to repopulate it.
What would settle it in one step: open the browser’s Network tab, reload, and find the assets/*.js request that fails. A 200 with Content-Type: text/html means the file is gone server-side and the single-page fallback is answering with index.html, which is exactly what a browser refuses to run as a module.
OK, changed the unpack to a local persistent folder tried to update applications but no webui downloaded. mSo i restarted server, no webui. So I downloaded the webui.zip and unpacked it into the persistent folder. Now I can no longer reach any ui. What to do?
Fixed in v0.16.23 (yet to be released).
