Cloudflare Email Service / Email Routing support

Cloudflare Email Service / Email Routing support

Hi,

I’m considering using Stalwart as the mail server for a small company, but our cloud server does not allow inbound or outbound SMTP traffic on port 25.

I’m wondering if there are any plans to support Cloudflare Email Service more directly.

Ideally, the setup would look like:

  • Inbound: Cloudflare Email Routing → Stalwart

  • Outbound: Stalwart → Cloudflare Email Service via SMTP submission/API

  • Stalwart would handle the actual mailboxes, users, IMAP/JMAP, etc.

  • Cloudflare would handle the public email delivery layer.

The outbound part seems possible using Cloudflare’s SMTP submission service, but I’m particularly interested in the inbound side, since our server cannot accept connections on port 25.

Is Cloudflare Email Service / Email Routing integration on the roadmap?

If not, would you consider supporting an HTTP/API-based mechanism for injecting received emails into Stalwart, which could be used with Cloudflare Email Routing Workers?

Thanks!

This seems like a very convoluted attempt to solve the wrong problem - move your hosting to a service that allows you to host a functional email server, and then you can use Cloudflare’s email service without any new code on Stalwart.
