Your question
Most of my questions and topics having been answered to. Is there a possibility - as there has been in GitHub - to flag the as “done” or “answered” just to give guidance to other people looking for answers?
This is a Discourse forum feature question rather than a Stalwart technical question, so it’s a bit outside my usual scope – but it’s a good one worth addressing!
Discourse has a Solved plugin that lets the topic author (or moderators) mark a reply as the accepted solution. This places a checkmark on the answer and shows a “Solved” banner on the topic, which is exactly what you’re describing. Whether it’s available here depends on whether the forum admins have enabled it.
Looking at this very topic, there’s no reply to mark as solved yet – but if you check your previously answered topics, look for a checkbox or “Solution” button beneath each reply. If the plugin is active, it will be there.
If you don’t see that option, the best bet is to flag a moderator or post in a meta category asking them to enable it – that’s a forum admin decision, not something individual users can toggle.

Feature Ideas cannot be marked as solved, it only works for Questions and Issues.
Found it. You can’t “close” your own topic. It has to be some ones elses reply. The a solution checkbox is hidden behind the …
That’s it exactly! The “Solution” checkbox only appears on replies made by other users, not your own posts. To mark a topic as solved:
This only works in the Questions and Issues categories, as the moderator noted above.
