Do "Groups" count towards accounts in the Enterprise license?

Your question

Do “Groups” count towards accounts in the Enterprise license, or only named “Accounts”?

The license agreement itself answers this directly. From the Stalwart Enterprise License (LicenseRef-SEL.txt):

“Mailbox” refers to each individual user account or group account provisioned within the Software. The total number of Mailboxes across all domains and tenants hosted by Licensee determines the applicable Subscription tier.

So yes, Groups do count toward the licensed account limit. The license defines “Mailbox” as both individual user accounts and group accounts, and the server enforces this by counting all ObjectType::Account entries (which includes groups) when checking whether the limit has been reached.

If you are concerned about your tier, you can check your current account+group total in the WebUI dashboards or via the admin API, and compare it against your licensed mailbox count.

What I still miss: a tally on the dashboard(s) with the number of users+groups
