I have a cluster of Stalwart nodes, where 2 nodes are marked as Outbound MTA nodes. These nodes have the proper configuration to ensure that outbound IP Addresses have port 25 unlocked and matching reverse DNS.
This works, but when sending through JMAP (Bulwark webmail) it takes several minutes before delivery is attempted. If I connect directly to the Outbound MTA nodes with SMTP, the delivery attempt starts instantly.
Some filtered logs for a delivery attempt, as you can see the message is accepted and queued at 20:12:39, but the delivery attempt doesn’t start until 20:16:53.
