I’m trying to get the automatic cloudflare integration working. However I’m not seeing any documentation on what permissions I need to give the key. I have it write permissions to all the “DNS” options in CF and then also tried the DNS template for the key.

This is how I have mine. I make one permission template per customer, so that I can attach the management per tenant. If that customer/tenant has more than one domain, then I lump them together. If that client leaves, the API key dies with them without affecting the rest.

I also supply the IP addresses of my cluster nodes to further strengthen security, but you don’t have to do that.

Ok thanks for the info!

I removed all the permissions then added them back and that seemed to work! (Also had to add my IPv6 addr because it was making the connection on IPv6 instead of IPv4)
