Is there any preference or benefit to using the GitHub Sponsorship route to receive an enterprise licence vs. buying it directly? Thanks.
direct might have less github taxes?
Only if this allows you to avoid taxes depending on your country and to display a sponsor’s logo, as indicated on each level.
I do believe github either adds or deducts some monies as it comes from you to the end recipient.
The Stripe/direct I believe only has the “normal” card transaction fees
