Very happy so far after migrating from AWS WorkMail to Stalwart using Vandelay. Single node setup, running inside jail on FreeBSD (ZFS) with RocksDB database.
It would be great to be able to re-trigger actions on existing email items, such as the ones I just migrated.
Specifically I’d like to clean up migrated mailboxes by re-running the spam filter, since WorkMail missed a lot.
I see there is also a request to re-index existing emails after configuration changes, so perhaps this can be generalised into “do something on existing mailboxes” ( No way to reindex existing mail after changing the Search Store ).
The only real pain point has been re-configuring a large number of Mac Mail and iOS Mail clients. Auto discover does not work well with IMAP, and while I understand it is not a current priority to support “Exchange protocol” I think it will be required for mass commercial adoption. Still too early days for JMAP in mainstream clients.
